Reflective Statement - Journey On

I felt relaxed and had a good experience with the journey on relaxation exercise. Honestly when I began the exercise I thought to myself..."oh my goodness this is going to take 15 minutes!" After a few minutes in I truly felt my heart rate drop and my muscles begin to relax. It's so often that we get so caught up in our day/work that we forget to stop and breathe for a moment. It's amazing how much control our minds have over our bodies, and to take a second in the middle of a hectic day made me realize that incorporating meditation somehow into my schedule could benefit me very much.
